Fees & Finance

Fees

Fees for the academic year 2011 – 2012 are £4,101 (£1,367 per term). These can be paid termly or monthly through direct debit.

The Dome Charitable Trust

It is available to an able student whose parents, without financial assistance, would not be able to meet the fees. The student must show a very high degree of both ability and motivation to take advantage of the learning opportunities offered by Jersey College for Girls. The full fees of the student will be met by the Scholarship for her full College career, subject to continued motivation and the parents’ financial circumstances being similar to those when the Scholarship was awarded.

Howard Leopold Davis Scholarship Trust

This Scholarship gives assistance to students who must be born in the Island of Jersey or, if not, one of their parents must be so. The student must have attended a school in Jersey for not less than three years to qualify.
The Trustees may decide to meet the full cost or part of the cost of the student’s attendance based upon the personal circumstances of the applicants.

VCJ/JCG Scholarship Trust

This is based on the personal circumstances of the applicants although they do not have to be Jersey born. The Scholarship is only available until the student finishes Year 11. At this time, depending on the circumstances of the family, separate funding may be available to offer assistance in the Sixth Form.

Centenary Bursary Fund

The fund exists to help with the initial expenses of a student entering Year 7 at Jersey College for Girls.
The sum awarded is not a fixed amount and is comparatively modest, but should be sufficient to meet the cost of one or two major items of uniform or equipment. Parents who would like to apply to the Fund should write to the Principal and should be prepared to supply a statement of income.
